Job Description for Sales Team Leader
The sales lead will perform sales, management, and administrative tasks, such as
maintaining sales performance of team members, recruiting and training staff. To be
successful as a sales lead, you should have excellent sales and leadership skills, as well as
strong customer service skills.
1. 3-5 years of Sales B2C experience and 1 year of team leader experience.
2. Should have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the products and services.
3. Auditing and Helping team in enrolling and mapping retailers.
4. Training on field sales staff, assigning specific tasks to other sales staff, and
monitoring the team’s sales performance.
5. Daily and Weekly reviews with sales person.
6. Daily reports to Project Lead.
7. Driving sales in the market and conducting refresher training for sales person.
8. Providing sales person with constructive feedback and assisting solving day to day
problem in the market.
9. Must be ready to work on field along with sales executives.
10. Maintaining positive customer relations.
11. Motivating the sales staff and creating an atmosphere of healthy competition among
the staff and help them achieve their targets.
12. Go getter attitude to achieve sales.
13. Punctual and well disciplined.
14. Willing to work in the market and drive sales along with sales person
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field or Graduate from any
stream.
3-5+ years’ B2B and B2C sales experience
1-2+ years in leadership sales position
Confident with strong communication skills
Track record of superior performance metrics
Strong decision-making abilities
Able to travel extensively
